Terrible Attorney...he will do his best to not fully defend you

Marty Keenan...to start I found out there was a warrant for my arrest Marty insisted he has NEVER lost a Felonious Assault case and then paid him a retainer and turned myself in. He said that he could possibly bypass my arrest and detainment by taking it to the grand jury to get a bond. This is a fla...t out lie and can not happen, ever. Marty agreed to be at my bond hearing for which he did not show up to. I was given a cash bond not a 10% bond and Marty told my family to use a hand picked bond agent and he couldn't do anything regarding a bond reduction hearing. This was a lie and he eventually did get me a bond reduction after learning that my cousin is a defense attorney and confirmed that Marty could do something about a bond reduction. We went through a few pre-trials and Marty informed me the victim retained an attorney who contacted Marty. Marty said that if i give in $10k cash he can offer it to the victim via the attorney and get him to not show up at trial and get the case dismissed. This is illegal and I asked him about the legality of it. He then agreed to put the offer through to the prosecutor's office to make it legal. Marty then set a trial date after no pleas were being offered and told me to not show up that date because there was no chance it would happen that day. I showed up and the trial was delayed until the next morning. He assured me he could not get it postponed further even though he said it would not happen for another month and the lawyer who was to sit second chair could not make it then. I owed him a balance and he informed me it needed to be paid before the trial started because he does not go to trial to not get paid win or loose and his performance would reflect this. Our agreement was that i would pay him $300 a month until the balance was paid. At the trial his performance was 85% poor. He left a lawyer on my jury, refused to cross examine the "victim" using things like pictures of the crime scene, phone records and medical records to conflict with the "victim's" perjured testimony. The prosecutor and the "victim" both lied multiple times about injuries that did not happen that could easily have been proven to be false via the medical records but Marty refused to do this. Upon my conviction I was placed on house arrest and Marty would not return a phone call until I left 7 or 8 messages. At sentencing he refused to object to the "victim" being able to ask for his own restitution amount based off of nothing and did not question the fact that no bills for medical procedures were presented to the court to determine restitution. Marty is a piece of crap as an attorney and I am filing a bar grievance as well as talking to a state and county prosecutor for the conversations we had, that i taped, where he instructs me to bribe a witness. I wish I would have gotten rid of him at the onset of his first set of lies regarding turning myself in and bonding but unfortunately I was too scared to ask to borrow money for a different attorney after having paid a my savings to Marty and loosing my job because I was in jail for 2 weeks after turning myself in not one to three max days as Marty had promised.
