Matthew Mark Hanley

Matthew Hanley’s law practice specializes in federal immigration law, including family visa petitions, naturalization, employment-based immigration, removal and deportation defense, and asylum and refugee applications.  While he calls the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex his professional home, his client base reaches across the United States and around the world.  Whether you are in need of a tourist visa to visit a friend or family member, or whether you are an entrepreneur looking to grow a business in the United States, Matthew offers the kind of personal, accessible legal representation that keeps you and your needs at the center of the process.

Matthew is the son of two educators. His father is a history professor and his mother is a third grade teacher.  He grew up understanding that communication is very important, and he works hard to understand his clients' individual needs.  In other words, he takes time to listen.  His highest priority is to explain your case clearly and make the often complex immigration and visa process comprehensible.  Whether you come to the United States to visit, to learn, or to live, Matthew works to help you achieve your American Dream.

Matthew has traveled widely and has personal roots in the central United States.  He has lived in Colorado, Indiana, Missouri, and Omaha, Nebraska where he completed law school at Creighton University.  His early training included work with individuals and corporations in various immigration matters and volunteer efforts with non-profit immigration organizations.

When Matthew is not practicing law, he shares life with his wife, Kelly, and their Great Dane, Huxley.  Kelly is currently in her fourth year of medical school at the University of North Texas Heath Science Center.  You may also find Matthew indulging his passion for cooking, running and roasting coffee.  When you visit the office, feel free to ask him for a "fresh cup."
