Mr. Kakish graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s Studies Certificate. He then attended Roger Williams University School of Law graduating with his Juris Doctor Degree and Mediation Certificate in 2010. Mr. Kakish was admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in May 2011 and the Ohio bar in November 2012.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kakish spent several years at a small boutique drunk driving firm. After began his legal career with the Lake County Public Defender where he successfully litigated numerous motion hearings and trials, Jeff continued mastering his craft. Through his service, Mr. Kakish gained valuable experience in defending OVI/DUI, Criminal, Traffic, and Domestic Relations cases in Juvenile, Municipal and Common Pleas Courts.
In October 2016, Mr. Kakish was honored to be the first Ohio Attorney to earn the ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Designation. In earning this designation, Mr. Kakish developed specialized knowledge on Gas Chromatography and Forensic Lab Testing of Drugs and Alcohol.
