Anna M. Parise

Anna is highly knowledgeable and diligent in family law. She supported me through my concerns during my recent custody case, and brought to light many different considerations along the way. She advocated particulars of the SPP for my daughter, that (to me) were non-negotiable. She was there to help... explain my options and key decisions for my case. I highly reccomend her for a straightforward and "aggressive" representation.

Anna took care of me from day one. When I first set up services, she talked with me thoroughly about my situation and made me feel heard. She immediately was able to get a read on the situation. She made a plan and followed through all while communicating with me. She allowed me to make my own decisi...ons and think about them, but always weighed in with her expertise and legal advice in the most respectful way. Anna always broke things down for me and would let me know next steps. When the day of the actual divorce came, she was on my team and supported me 100%. I will use Anna in the future and have referred several people to her for legal help. I can’t thank Anna enough for what she did and how incredible she was for me and my family.

First off I never actually met her face-to-face. She never asked to meet me to go over my case. I was trying to move my case to Ohio from out of state and modify my child support order Very little work done. I had to ask my California case worker to explain to me what my lawyer was supposed to do. Fa...st forward one year later my case is filed with the state only to request that they accept it. 2 months go by and no one calls or emails me or bothers to check on the status of the request. I’m now out $1200 and have a bunch of kindling for a fire. My case wasn’t important enough or expensive enough. Very poor work. Felt as if she had better things to do than worry about my case. Don’t bother unless you have money to burn.

Was referred to Parise from a family member to resolve custody issues because she was supposed to be "tough". After reviewing my case she said there were violations from ex that we had a case for, took my retainer and proceeded to do nothing. rarely returned emails, failed to file other offenses ag...ainst order, often times did not have slightest clue what we discussed weeks before or what was even in my agreement in the first place. When called out on this two months in told her I was going elsewhere and she told me she was a "rockstar" and had been caught up in a guest lecture and to give he a chance. Regrettably I did and after six more months and a felony charged against my ex she wanted me to sign what amounted to be a worse agreement and still never handled what she was hired to do! Stay away
