Today, I went to court & had a mishap, they lost paperwork for court appointed attorney. However, God Bless, Mr. Barilla. He welcomed the chance to come on my team and defend me against all odds. The Stack was definitely not in my favour, because my EX is a Con Artist and very manipulative. Getting m...any on his team, as they don't see thur his smoke and mirrors. Yet, with all that, and Zero prep time, My Attorney Barilla WON hands down. And it was Sweet Justice, because my EX attorney MADE Partner in His Firm, by Winning on my husband ABUSE of me. That OTHER Lawyer, pleaded before a Jury, His Client my EX, DID the Crime, but wrong charge, and so he made firm & forever helps my Ex. And my Ex, forever Twists the truth, saying he was found Not Guilty. Boils down to, I am so grateful.... To My New Attorney, he was Court Appointed & HELPED me more than many in the past, in just a few minutes, he went from zero, to HERO ! Sincerely thanks, on behalf of me, my rights & more Importantly my child, who needs his mom!! And Mr. Barilla, made it clear out the gate, he is a fight for truth!!! & Real Justice is on my Horizons, after Years of Dragged thru the mud & gunk, by my Ex. May Lord bless, Mr. Barilla & give him wisdom & passion to continue on behalf of myself & my child, and demolish the Lies & drama forever! I believe life is finally going to improve, with help of this man!

I’m not one to normally post reviews. However, after reading the recent review for James I felt it important to post my dealings with James for the better part of the past 9+ years. There has NEVER been a time I didn’t trust James or felt he was taking advantage of the situation. James had the patien...ce of a saint as he watched my ex-wife hire and fire over 9 attorneys. Unfortunately there are numerous attorneys who will thrive on your personal “misfortunes”. With James, he doesn’t look at dollar signs rather solutions to difficult situations that may arise throughout a divorce. He will protect you, provide you honest feedback, though it may not be what you want to hear, and most importantly not spend your money needlessly. What’s unique with James is the ability to pull the “emotion” out of the situation and provide honest legal guidance relative to any particular situation he’s given. Should you be seeking an attorney please do yourself a favor and contact James. Ask him for my name and number and I’ll be glad to go in greater detail. Just mention I need to speak with your client that had an “x” who hired and fired 9+ attorneys and dismissed the divorce the day before trial to only file again the following day. He’ll know.

I feel insulted by James and his very arrogant demeanor. He thinks he is always right and will win any case. I tried my best to work with him on a divorce case. He never returned phone calls or text messages. I do not recommend. Unless you want your case to proceed while being ignorant of the process... or important details my opinion is hire him. If you want an attorney who is there for you at every moment. There's tons out there. There are lawyers I've had who went above the standard and attoeneynswered my calls at 3am if I needed them.
