report and address what I believe to be serious judicial misconduct impacting my pending custody matter in Ashtabula County (Case No. 24 JI 36). As you may be aware, a Cuyahoga County judge was recently criminally charged for conduct involving alleged tampering with proceedings and acting outside ...the scope of judicial authority. After reviewing those filings and comparing them to my own court record, I have identified striking procedural similarities between what occurred there and what occurred in my case before Magistrate Mirela Turc Rudary. Specifically, I possess transcripts, docket entries, and witness statements showing that motions assigned to the judge for determination were instead ruled on by the magistrate. This is the same type of procedural conduct at issue in the Cuyahoga County matter. I am concerned that the actions in my case may constitute comparable misconduct, potentially rising to the level of a felony depending on intent and effect.
