I hired her for a protection order in family court due to domestic violence. She was listed as a recommended source by the bar. The thing that was odd was, she was not prepared AND I already had a criminal protection order in place and wanted a family one since it protected my children. Not o...nly was my case dismissed, but I had to spend money with another attorney to fight to protect my child. I gave her phone calls, letters, photos, video everything I could think of to support my case and brought witnesses. But she completely fell apart in court and seemed absent minded and nervous. Thank goodness my family is safe due to my perseverance, but it was no thanks to her.

I used her in my child custody case. The whole time she told me that I would at least get more visitation time with my children, if not shared parenting. She puts on an appearance as if she knows what she is doing, but then falls apart in court. I wasn't even briefed on what to expect before we went ...into court. Her incompetence got me even less visitation with my children and I ended up paying even more child support.
