Tonya Marie Robinson

Over the years, Tonya has taken on two cases with me, both involving custody of my child, as well as child support, and modifications to my existing Shared Parenting plan. For each case from start to end and beyond, Tonya has worked hard to make sure my needs where fully met. Any questions or conce...rns I had through these difficult proceedings, she was there for me, continually working to make sure that we were building a successful case for both today, and years down the road. One of the biggest things that I appreciated is Tonya always kept me grounded in what is realistic in terms of expectations of outcomes, and possible pit falls of our case. This truly allowed me know be prepared for the case as well as being prepared emotionally for what could happen based on the facts of the case at hand. This really allowed me to do my part as a client and stay focused to the goals I am looking accomplish for me and my child through the courts. Beyond exceeding my expectations of an attorney in these types of cases, Tonya proved that she is here for her clients to help them; and not to just get through the case at hand. Tonya has demonstrated this by what she has done after the fact, months, even years after the case was settled. She has been there countless times for me, in regards to advice on how to legally handle a situation that has arose with the other parent, as well as getting ahold of past information, and even things that I should be careful about, or to document, just in case there are future issues with the other party to the case. Working with other attorneys in the past, this was truly a breath of fresh air; having someone that honestly cares about you and your family, working for you, over someone who just wants to get the case off their books. I will defiantly be returning to Tonya for all my family law needs, and continue to refer anyone to her that needs someone to fight for them, as Tonya has shown me, and those that I have sent to her for help, that they are truly working with a top professional, and are in the best of hands.

I hired Tonya Robinson on or for two different cases. The first time she represented me she ALWAYS kept me briefed and had it all together. I had to hire her again after another lawyer messed things up that she fixed. She stood confident, strong, and definitely organized. I was so impressed! I hired ...her again years later and Tonya Robinson again IMPRESSED me. I have a disabled son and she FOUGHT FOR ME! I had a husband that wanted to drag things out ..but Tonya said NO WAY and his attorney was totally unprepared..no paperwork and they even filed...you would think his attorney would of had a plan..but Tonya stayed up all night and had a Decree..and boom first time in front of the Judge she did her work and I was out that day. Also, I even had the legal copies that she personally walked me over to get. I will refer Tonya to anyone and would and will hire her again in a minute!

I hired Tonya for a paternity, child support, and custody case. Tonya is a nice person but as for a lawyer, I was disappointed. When we went to court, she was unprepared and disorganized, and in front of the judge, she seemed timid. I eventually got the feeling that she was purposefully dragging out ...my case so that I'd incur more fees. If you are looking for a no-nonsense attorney who gets to the point and works hard to get your case resolved, I would look elsewhere.

I hired her for a protection order in family court due to domestic violence. She was listed as a recommended source by the bar. The thing that was odd was, she was not prepared AND I already had a criminal protection order in place and wanted a family one since it protected my children. Not o...nly was my case dismissed, but I had to spend money with another attorney to fight to protect my child. I gave her phone calls, letters, photos, video everything I could think of to support my case and brought witnesses. But she completely fell apart in court and seemed absent minded and nervous. Thank goodness my family is safe due to my perseverance, but it was no thanks to her.
