Lara Jessie Rump

Ms. Rump was assigned to me as my public defender. I have had nothing but negative experiences with PDs in the past, so I didn't expect much from her. Lara quickly changed that thought. She went out of her way to get another case in another county run concurrent with the case she represented me in. S...he turned 14 months in prison into 30 days in CCNO. She came to see me in the county jail multiple times to let me know where we were with the case. Previous public defenders would make this promise and I wouldn't see them til court. She keeps her word, she let's you know that you are an important client (even if she was appointed to you), her professionalism and personality are in a class above her peers with decades more experience than her. I hope to never need her, but if I should, I will absolutely hire her as a hired attorney.
