Fantastic assistance

We have been extremely impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that Buchanan & Nipper has given to our cases. He gave us precise solutions in an extremely efficient manner, and he was a joy to work with the whole time! Bnip worked with us to establish a brand strategy and was ab...le to think preemptively about potential problems. James, Tim, and Evan helped us negotiate a mutually beneficial agreement with another LLC that protected both of our interests while avoiding unnecessary legal headache. (And truly, avoiding headache is a rare skill among legal professionals!) We also trusted James with a particular concern that required fast, direct, and confident action - he proved himself to be a fair and fierce defender of our concept. !e have been extremely grateful for his help through that unexpected dilemma! What has impressed us most about Bnip is their personal attention. They never made us feel that we were just another client or not worth their time. James has an incredibly welcoming and friendly personality, not to mention a valuable intellectual skill set. Bnip is a rare resource! I will highly recommend it to all business owners in need of an expert!

Relationship: Co-worker

"There is no person in this world who has taught me more about patent strategy, and patent law practice than Matthew. To me, his real talent is describing complicated things in a concise, easy to understand manner that doesn't impact coverage, something that most patent attorneys "think" they masters of, but rarely are."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
