Elijah Dever Baccus

Eli joined the U.S. Army at seventeen years old and spent three years stationed in Washington, D.C. in the Army’s ceremonial unit, The Old Guard. While in The Old Guard, Eli performed full-honor funerals in Arlington National Cemetery, represented President Washington’s personal body guard in U.S. Army ceremonies, and guarded the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After leaving the U.S. Army, Eli graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Philosophy, with a minor in Creative Writing.  Eli attended Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law and graduated in the top third of his class.  While in law school, Eli was awarded two CALI Excellence in the Future Awards for Pre-trial Litigation and the Law of Jury Selection.
