I hired Charlie to represent me through a very difficult year and a half process I was scared through out it all. Charlie always made sure he contacted me atleast every couple weeks to keep me informed of every part of my case and if he couldn't his staff did. I had a heart attack and he even made su...re to come see me in the hospital. As time came closer to trial Charlie would even make arrangements late into the evenings to see me and discuss my case. It's a very scary time for someone in my position so I was untrusting of everyone. When it came time for trial all my fears went away and I had no doubt Charlie was there for me the whole time. He was well prepared and ready. He never backed down. I will always recommend Charlie to anyone. He has his clients best interest in mind.

Charlie Bates was late to every one of my c0ourt proceedings. He was never prepared.He confused me with another one of his clients 3 times.He tried to make a plea deal without my permission so he would not have to go to court the next day. He would not try my case because he said it wasn't his count...y and he didn't want to loose. He is not the lawyer he thinks he is.Charlie Bates tried to impress me with his win record.He told me his statistics. He had been in business for 27 years and had an 84% win record,but in 27 years he only had 19 trials and only won 84%of those.wish I wish he would have bragged about his unimpressive record before I hired him! All Charlie Bates wants to do is take your money and plea your case out so he thinks he wins his cases.Dont hire this arrogant washed up lawyer because you will pay triple for nothing.

I had a troubling case that should have never went to trial but due to an ex wife and false allegations, that is exactly where I found myself. Charlie took extra time with multiple phone calls to make sure I understood everything. Even though we made a deal before the trial was started; I was confide...nt in his ability to defend me and make sure the law was followed. As I hope to never have to use him again for a criminal case, I would recommend him without question to anyone especially my family.
