While Darren did help resolve my issue with the criminal justice system, I found him to be quite crass in the matters pertaining to my situation and outsourced the vast majority of the work to another attorney from a different firm he knew of. This other attorney, as it would turn out, was the primar...y reason for the positive resolution as it was that attorney who knew the one and outs of the law, had good working relationships with the judge, DA, and officers/detectives involved, and that attorney spoke to me in a much more matter of a fact manner without making it obvious he was worried in any way to get paid. Mr. Meade, however, spoke of the money al I'm too often and the kept me on the line paying into the retainer fund for 3-4 months AFTER everything was resolved stating, "well, they still haven't said for certain that it's over." It wasn't until I asked this other attorney whether there was a decision that I found out it was definitively resolved. Quite infuriating and expensive.

Our mentally ill adult son was charged with a second degree felony.
