Top Notch Lawyer

Was able to give excellent advice and help with a financial issue. Excellent at what he does.

Decent Lawyer but unprofessional

Trent is a decent lawyer. I hired him for a traffic offense and a criminal charge. Throughout the process I felt that anytime I contacted him I was interrupting him. I work traditional hours so the best time for me contact or meet with him is in the evening. He did not offer evening hours. He does no...t have an office so I understand why it may have been harder to meet. He was able to get all my charges dismissed but I am not sure if that's because of him or because the victim refused to cooperate. I decided to retain his counsel on another matter. (Traffic related) and texted him at 4am. I spoke to him the next day and he wanted to charge me the exact same amount for lesser charges. I decided to interview other attorneys and found another attorney who was rated higher. I texted him and informed him of this. He proceeded to tell me he was pissed and that I was an ass. I explained to him that I asked him if my license was still suspended and he informed me no. It should take a few days to update in the BMV records. I feel an attorney should have been able to give me the correct answer. My license was still suspended. I was pulled over for a suspended license weeks later. I also told him he was unprofessional. No lawyer should ever curse at a client or be rude and disrespectful. Especially, when the client didn't disrespect him. As long as you paying him money he will be kind of there for you. But as soon as you decide to sever your relationship, he becomes unprofessional.
