I've defended federal criminal cases for 36 years; for 18 of these years, I've been in private practice while the other 18 years were during my tenure with the Federal Public Defender's Office. My scholarship in federal sentencing resulted in my appointment to the United States Sentencing Commission's Practitioners Advisory Group in 2017.
I'm an inveterate insomniac who's up at 5:00 am to clear my head for the upcoming day. The only hobby I have is reading non-fiction books. I have a wonderful family that stands behind me in everything I do. Lastly, I have two goofy dogs that constantly remind me of how complicated we humans make life. On the professional side, if you become my client, you deal with me, and only me. You won't be shuffled off onto an associate for either court appearances or office meetings. I also believe in returning all phone calls and emails within 24 hours of receipt. I look forward to having the privilege of representing you!
