Janie Dianne Roberts

Janie was recommended by a friend who utilized her services for multiple issues ranging from criminal charges to traffic offenses to family law. She was described as inexpensive and able to effectively handle many different issues. I retained her in June 2014 as my criminal defense attorney for a f...elony charge. Janie is personable & well versed. Giving her a rating of 1 in knowledgeability felt slightly wrong since she is very well educated & experienced. However, I did so because, as another client stated so appropriately in their review, Janie has such a poor work ethic that her knowledge is of absolutely no use. I agreed very much with the opinions given by "A Divorce Client". Janie did not respond to my voicemails or emails. She did not comply with a formally written request for an itemized statement that explains her charges (shows how much time was spent on my case, on what activity, dollar amount of fees, ect.). Most importantly of all, she did nothing to benefit my case.

This lawyer has a lot of experience and should know what she is doing . She has a motherly approach that gives clients a false sense of comfort. If you are looking for help with a domestic matter, I want to warn you to stay away from this lawyer. Dont be fooled by her office location or years of expe...rience. I have observed her unprofessional behavior firsthand. She will tell a client what they want to hear, charge them a lot of money for that, and then when things do not go well she will blame the court, or tell the client it was out of her hands. She has a very poor work ethic, fails to return calls, sometimes does not show up.
