I hired Simakovsky Law Firm in Columbus, Ohio for an immigration case and paid their fee. At one of the worst times of my life, I relied on them, but they kept saying they were ‘working on it.’ After a year, nothing was accomplished. To see what they had done during that year, I requested the forms t...hey submitted on my behalf. The forms were filled so poorly that even a school student could have done a better job. They didn’t properly check anything about my case, and after seeing the forms, I wouldn’t have approved them myself. Later, a non-profit organization completed the same work in just two months. In my experience, this firm seems more focused on collecting fees than helping clients. I wouldn’t wish anyone—even my worst enemy—to experience working with them. If you represent yourself, you may do a better job, and even ICE agents might be more empathetic. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend hiring another law firm for immigration matters.

I have had a consultation with her, and she gave me a lot of information. She is very good at asylum cases, and I honestly have not seen an Ohio lawyer who is as informed and confident as her.
