I hired Evan after being accused of domestic violence by my ex-bf under ORC "causing another to fear they may be harmed" and having a TPO placed against me. At the time, I weighed 95lbs and was a shell of a human from living with an abusive man with a lengthy history in domestic and criminal court. I... had been assaulted and counter-filed for a CPO. I asked Evan to negotiate with opposing counsel but he failed to do so during the five weeks we waited for the hearing. 8:30am hearing. Evan spent the entire day with opposing counsel and her client, my ex. He did not explain things correctly resulting in an agreement I did not agree to. He told me he was going to speak to other attorneys to see if he had "fulfilled his fee agreement." AKA: dump me as a client-which is exactly what he did. He fired me as a client because he didn't want to finish doing the work. He only charged me $800 and appeared in court three times! I tried to pay him more, just to get him to finish the work, but he was ready to move on.

I have a hellacious criminal background with surprising details like : I graduated with a 3.7 gpa, and before I was a drug felon I was a 2nd grade teache. My life changed whey daughter was born, I beat a heroin addiction, I got married, gotta job, and a home. My daughter was taken without my knowledg...e, hearings were held regarding her custody and NEITHER of her parents were notified or allowed to be present. I’ve lost most of the nice things I worked so hard to obtain over the last 4 months due to negligent public service workers, I am now a separated man due to unfortunate circumstances forcing my wife to relocate back to our home state after my stepson was released to a man that is on felony probation for rolling a vehicle 7 times with his child inside drunk...... Evan called me on a Saturday, before Easter and it blew my mind, he’s a smart man & probably a good chess player, him pissed off could be a force to be reckoned with and I’m sure he is going places as long as he keeps fighting for what’s right!
