Cynthia Marie Roy

If you are interested in losing your case, Cynthia Roy is the perfect attorney for you. She never answers her office phone, and takes up to 1-2 weeks to return voice messages. At one point towards the end, we waited for over 2 months to get a return call with an update. During our court appointme...nts, Cynthia (Cindy) Roy typically waited until the morning of trial to familiarize herself with updates. Most often on the day of court, she requested case details that were previously provided both verbally and via email. Cynthia was somewhat knowledgeable in her field of course, but she was terrible at communicating that knowledge to us as her clients. Her work tenacity is horrific: she often sided and agreed with the opposing party. While her prices are lower than other family law attorneys in Columbus, it is not wise to pay less for terrible service and legal advice, especially when your children's lives' are at the mercy of the court. There is absolutely nothing positive about Cyndi: she was often cranky, moody, and very short with us as her clients, as if we were bothering her for updates. After waiting for more than 2 months, she finally called me back, and asked for my husband’s schedule for a meeting (I’m not sure why she didn’t just call my husband directly). She was not remotely apologetic for her unexplained leave of absence, and she failed to acknowledge any of the 10+ voice messages we had left for her over a period of 2 months. Her attitude is poor, and we were embarrassed to be represented by her. Please seek other counsel!!

She starts off nice and professional however she is not knowledge at all. I had to do everything n my own.... Take it from me if you hire her you are better off doing it yourself and saving some money. She has medical problems and is not going to inform you of that. She will not return phones calls ...either. How many of us want to know what is going on with our case? She wont help don't hire..... FYI Good luck
