Catherine represented me in divorce case. The moment I met her she was warm, empathetic and let me take the time I needed to explain my situation. Once I learned that my son had been a victim of severe abuse, neglect, and endangerment, I clearly realized I was going to file for custody of him. It all started when the boyfriend of my ex-wife died of a drug overdose in their home in front of my child. 3 weeks later my son disclosed to me that... one of the sons of the babysitter whom his mother had been taking him to for 2 years had molested him for the greater part of a year. I knew that my ex had issues but I never thought she would of put our son in harms way. We initially filed for emergency custody which we were denied. But at least filing initiated the process and it got negotiations started.
