Long process

I filed for divorce with Catherine back in April! At no fault to her the process took six months to complete. Imshebwas patient and understand and stood by me the whole time. I was always a priority when she was with me and made sure I was getting exactly what I needed and wanted.

Divorce

Catherine was wonderful since the day I walked in her office asking for counsel. I went through a ton with my ex husband with abuse and knew I had to take things into my hands before it was too late. She guided me through a custody battle with our children. Whenever I needed advice she didn’t hesitat...e to give it and explained anything to me that made no sense. It took about a year but with her by my side representing me it all worked out and I couldn’t have done it without her.

Family Matters

Catherine was so much more than I'd ever expected from a lawyer. She made me think over what I wanted to do and my options every time we spoke. She was more interested in my well being, if I was absolutely sure before she finalized it all. I felt like she was more concerned with my little family than... making money off of a case. She filled me with hope that this didn't have to be forever. She shared her personal early marriage issues and made me think through everything. I couldn't be more thankful. Catherine, you are what a family lawyer should be.

Custody case with Catherine M White

I worked with Catherine on establishing a shared custody agreement with my ex girlfriend. I had an hour long consultation, she accepted my case and was able to have it filed and reviewed by a judge in a reasonable time. My ex girlfriend had agreed to everything in advance, so our case was pretty pain...less. We have always had a good relationship so the process was completed with very little acrimony or spite. She explained the fee structure when she agreed to take my case. No hidden fees or extra unnecessary hours billed. REMEMBER: Filing fees are not a part of the attorney fees. She explained this multiple times. Here are some things future clients need to know: 1. Be prepared. Get all the documents requested as soon as possible. The longer you wait to get the longer things will take generally. 2. Don't let forget that your children and what is best for them. It is easy to let anger get in the way of what should be a peaceful process. 3. Things take time. The wheels of government turn pretty slow. Ask for timelines, she will provide them. they will be reasonable. Also remember that other lawyers can work at different paces, people can drag their feet. Be reasonable. 4. E-mail and phone communication can take 24 hours. Be prepared to understand that. If you send an e-mail on Friday night, she won't answer until the following work day. Catherine was competent and a pleasure to work with.

Absolutely wonderful attorney!!!!

Catherine is absolutely one of the most genuine individuals you could ever come across! Catherine was very direct up front and honest while handling my divorce and child case. meeting Catherine for the first time I felt understood and that she truly cared about my case and especially cared about what... was in the best interest of my child. She made me feel as if my case was the only one that she had. She always responded in a timely manner with my questions and always went above and beyond for me. i would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you Catherine for all your amazing work!
