Brett A. Colbert is a native of Columbus, Ohio.  He attended The Ohio State University as an undergrad, where he received B.A. degrees in Political Science and in Economics.  Mr. Colbert then attended the Moritz College of Law at OSU, where he earned a J.D. degree.   Mr. Colbert is a founding Partner of Colbert Davis LLP.  Before founding Colbert Davis LLP, he interned at The Arnebeck Law Office for two years, and became Of Counsel to that firm upon passing the Bar.  Mr. Colbert also spent a year working in an anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act role for a JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, through Robert Half Management Resources.  Mr. Colbert is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, and before the Federal District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio.  He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association, where he participates in the OSBA Taxation Committee and Utilities Committee.  Mr. Colbert’s practice areas include personal injury and wrongful death, divorce and child custody, business and contract law, civil rights and public interest law, FDCPA and debt collector harassment, insurance and consumer protection.  His personal interests include tennis, music, and strategy gaming.
