My practice is people.  Some are owners/presidents of succesful businesses.  Others are young entrepeneurs just getting started with a vague vision that needs honed and protected.  Some are families in need of estate and life planning, regardless of their financial worth.  And there are grieving spouses and families who have recently lost a loved one.  Sometimes the client is technically a bank or corporation, but there are always people behind the entity.  Those people all have families and life challenges to overcome, sometimes needing the advocate, sometimes needing the counselor, both of which are traits in great lawyers.  I grew up in Lancaster; my father's pharmacy was a successful business for over 40 years in serving this community and the individuals in it, regardless of status.  I came back to Lancaster in 1987 with the goal of providing similar service in a law practice - to be a strong advocate, to be a trusted counselor, to make people feel that they and their legal issues matter.  As managing partner, my goal is to instill that in my firm's lawyers - to be strong, competent, creative and zealous advocates while showing great care and compassion for those we serve.
