If your loved one receives this man as their public defender, you need to have them request a new one immediately. This man will never call you back or respond to you at all. He will make promises to your loved one that he will never follow through on. I gave him my contact information multiple times..., yet he waited til the day of court to tell me I could speak to the court, gave me no time to prepare at all. We gave him lots of information for the case, most of which he ignored. He planned to meet with our defendant multiple times to review the case, but only showed up ONCE only when we were threatening to fire him, and he showed up to convince us not to. Weeks after the trial was over, he then showed up to the wrong facility asking to see our defendant! He is rude and unreliable. He provides bare minimum defense. I would highly encourage you to hire someone else.

I had high hopes when hiring this attorney, but the experience was utterly disappointing. Communication was practically non-existent, with unanswered calls and emails. When I did manage to get a response, it was lackluster at best, offering little help with my case. The only time I experienced prompt... communication was when he was chasing full payment, which I reluctantly paid. Save yourself the frustration and seek legal assistance elsewhere.
