I possess bar admittance in the States of Ohio and Florida, as well as the Sixth and Eleventh Federal Circuit Bankruptcy Courts.

One of the great services I provide is in association with the Columbus Bar Association. Specifically, I provide to the Columbus community free legal advice through ABC Channel 6-TV "Ask the Attorney" program.  I have volunteered numerous times. Viewers have an opportunity to call and ask the attorneys legal questions. Over the last two years, the Columbus Bar Association through this program has helped about 10,000 callers.

 The ABC 6-TV Ask the Attorney program is on Wednesdays 5-7 PM.

Helped me though a tough time
Mr. Miller handled my case with care and dignity in my Chapter 7 case. He was able to discharge a judgment against me so I could get my license and a car again.

He will tell you what you want to hear
I retained Jake Miller a few years back to represent me for a mortgage modification. Actually, I was looking for chase to refinance my existing mortgage at the prevailing rate while not being in arears on my mortgage or jeopardizing my excellent credit score. Upon our initial consultation, he advised me that this was completely achievable. I should have balked when the amount of his retainer changed from the phone call I made to his office and once he had my financial information. I digress. After collecting his retainer I was chasing him After 3 months he advised me I would need to default on my mortgage, but in the long run it would save me money on interest and that he could potentially obtain a principal reduction. I was livid. I fired him on the spot. Oh, my retainer that evaporated.
