Donald Bruce Hallowes

Mr. Hallowes created our first will in 2007. Since that time my wife and I have had numerous changes in our in our lives including retirement, moving, additional grandchildren and the loss of both of our mothers. We both had to deal with some difficult financial and end-of-life issues related to o...ur mothers. We determined that we did not want to have our children experience those problems. We asked Don to review our will and make all the necessary changes to avoid those problems. He was thorough, patient, inciteful to our needs, and offered many suggestions for financial transfers that eased our minds. We would highly recommend Don Hallowes as a personal attorney.

The hardest part of being an attorney, I am sure, is fully understanding the clients need. Clients can ramble and it takes someone special to get to the bottom of their complaint. Unfortunately, I tend to ramble. Many times I have been talking with Don on the phone and I stop and say "Don, are you... there?" and he says "Yes, I am listening". He listens and he understands what you want to do and only then does he offer opinion and suggest a strategy. Listening is a lost art but not with Mr. Hallowes. I have used Don for trust work and have known him for 20+ years. And I have referred him to many. All were pleased with his efforts.
