Campbell accused of open murder by use of a firearm. The victim came at Campbell aggressively while he was sitting in his pickup. Campbell knew that victim had just recently beaten a woman with a fire ... place poker. Campbell shot the victim with revolver he carried under his seat. The victim was found to not be armed. Jury acquitted Campbell of murder under theory of self-defense.
