Attorney John Bell Whitesell attended Vanderbilt University, where he lettered as a running back for the Vanderbilt Commodores Varsity Football Team (earning Southeastern Conference All Academic status) and participated in Vanderbilt's Naval ROTC unit. He then attended and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Mr. Whitesell has been practicing law since 1988 and assisting claimants with Social Security disability cases in Tennessee and Kentucky since 1994.

Unfortunately, in most cases, being awarded disability benefits involves a hearing before an administrative law judge. This is the level where claimants will generally have their best chance of being approved.
