Biography
William Kautz has been with Edwards and Kautz since its beginning in 2007. He joined with Mark because of Mark Edward’s fame as the best Personal Injury attorney. He enjoys the challenges of helping people as a criminal defense attorney.
William is a partner at the firm and focuses his practice on criminal defense. He believes in the pursuit of Justice. And he has prosecuted and defended hundreds of cases from DUI to capital murder. He also deals with appeals. He says, “Criminal defense attorneys are the guardians of our Constitution of Rights.” He has practiced only Criminal Law for thirty years. During that time he has been a prosecutor, a public defender and private lawyer. He has appeared in both Federal and State Courts.
William graduated from law school at Salmon P. Chase in 1978. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 1975 with Bachelor of Science in Business. He served as McCracken County Bar Association President.
William is married to Latisha Kinsey Kautz. He has two children. Charlie is now a Chiropractor and Sami works in the hotel industry. He enjoys boating, traveling and playing golf.
