OUTCOME: The court entered a verdict reinstating the physician's privileges to perform surgeries at the hospital and awarded over $200,000 in damages for lost income.
The Hospital wrongfully stripped the plaintiff physician of her privileges to perform orthopedic surgeries at the hospital.
OUTCOME: The court discharged the fraudulent mortgages and awarded attorney's fees of approximately $75,000 for prosecuting the claim and defending the attempt to foreclose the bogus mortgages. The decsion was upheld on appeal to the Appellate Court.

The plaintiff entered into a construction contract with the home owner. The bank required the plaintiff to acknowledge acceptance of an assignment of that contract from the homeowner to the bank. The ... homeowner then defaulted and the plaintiff continued to perform work at the direction of the bank, yet the bank refused to pay for the work performed. I sued the bank for damages as the assignee of the contract.
