OUTCOME: Judgment in favour of clients refunding all rent paid during the tenacy.

Case began as an Unlawful Detainer but was converted to a regular civil case for damages as possession was no longer an issue. Clients filed cross-complaint seeking refund of rent paid during tenancy ... as the property was illegal, uninspected and unpermitted.
