Hunting Violations
Apr 13, 2012OUTCOME: All charges dismissed by judge at trial.
Client charged with Hunting deer after having killed one. He claimed that another individual shot the deer in question, but that hunter, who signed the registration forma claiming to have killed the de ... er, denied shooting it. If the second hunter admitted killing the animal he would have admitted to breaking the law since he had already shot a deer that season. The case never got to the jury because the final Game Warden testified on cross that he had prepared for his testimony by reviewing his own report. That report was never disclosed to the defense. The judge granted my motion to dismiss.
