Client on probation for accidental death of client's infant child. Court ordered no contact with any children for term of probation. Probation officer saw client in contact with a child and living in t ... he same house as client's grandchild. I conducted an investigation and interviewed client's family and subpoenaed most of them to the revocation hearing. After an extensive evidentiary revocation hearing the judge ordered the client to be held in contempt for her violation of the terms of probation but did not revoke the probation. Client was released after three months of jail rather than 5 years of prison.
