I am an only child of hardworking, devoted parents. My dad passed at the age of 62, leaving my mom alone. We noticed she was slipping and took her to a neurologist for evaluation. We got the dreaded dementia diagnosis. We had to learn to navigate the legal and medical system alone. It was difficult, because, even as a lawyer, I didn't know what to do. My mom passed in 2013 at the age of 68.
I decided to focus my practice on helping families figure out how to preserve assets, plan for care and get an estate plan together. The whole thing is challenging and overwhelming. It's difficult without someone to hold your hand through the process. We are here because we've been in your shoes. We will help you find the answers for your family.
