I grew up in Louisville, KY and moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky. There, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. I remained in Lexington, and worked as a Volunteer Manager with Court Appointed Special Advocates of Lexington (CASA), working extensively with children and families in Lexington's Family Court.
I was also a Legislative Aide with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council for five years before attending law school.
I have remained involved with the CASA of Lexington, where I served several years as the Board President, and currently serve in the same role for the Kentucky CASA Network. As party of my practice, I serve as a court-appointed attorney, representing children and families in dependency, neglect and abuse cases.
My practice focuses on the areas of criminal law, family law and juvenile matters, and civil litigation. I am happy to discuss your legal matter with you to see if I can be of assistance to you, or help you find someone who can.
