also known as Betty Megan Barber, Megan Williams
Betty Megan Williams is a native of Prestonsburg, Kentucky but now proudly calls Mount Sterling her home. The summer between Megan’s first and second years of law school Megan clerked for Hon. Justice Will T. Scott of the Kentucky Supreme Court. Thereafter, she continued to gain practical experience doing a clerkship with the Fayette County District Court and internship at the Fayette County Commonwealth Attorney’s office. Megan was raised in a law office and one could say that law was in her blood. At age 6 Megan’s father would often allow her to tag along to workers’ compensation hearings and pretend to be his court reporter, a task she took very seriously. She eventually graduated to file clerk and it was only natural that she would go on to law school after graduating college.
In addition to her private practice Megan is the Assistant County Attorney in Menifee County, Kentucky. Megan also represents the cities of Frenchburg and Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Scot, and three beautiful step-daughters. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and crafting with the kids.

Very compassionate and helpful.
Megan and her paralegal, Jodi, took the time to listen and help me in a difficult situation. They are very knowledgable of the laws, and go above and beyond to help.

Megan Williams is a hard-hitter in court and knew exactly what to do and instilled confidence from the beginning to the end.
When my family was hit with false accusations of child abuse, we were devastated and scared. Ms. Williams listened to our story and was genuinely sorry and shocked at the accusations against us and immediately started gathering evidence and support. We soon found out that the claims had a monetary...

Caring, Confident, and Intelligent
Mrs. Williams has the ability to make uncomfortable situations comfortable with her confidence in the initial consultation and in the courtroom. I had been married to the same man for 16 years in a small town where I was a Christian woman and the last thing I wanted to admit to anyone was that my mar...
