Due to an automobile accident, I was on AVVO looking for a local personal injury attorney to represent my wife and I. Out of curiosity, I searched to see if Mr. Schurman was listed here. When I saw that no one had yet left any reviews on Mr. Schurman, I decided to rectify that oversight. I will try t...o keep this review as short as possible here, in a nutshell, is my story. My father past away in February of 2003. Through a quirky twist of fate, I found myself sitting in the law offices of Avery & Schurman, PLC, shortly after which, I somewhat reluctantly became the Executor of my father’s estate while Mr. Schurman became the estate’s attorney. Right from the start, I could tell that Mr. Schurman was an attorney that could be trusted and who would do his best to help get the estate settled equitably for all heirs involved. I worked closely with Schurman on all aspects of the estate and no matter how difficult things became, I could always count on Mr. Schurman to handle every situation with expertise and professionalism. At a time when you are mourning the passing of a loved one, becoming the executor for that person’s estate, and taking on all of the responsibilities associated with that title, can be an overwhelming and daunting experience. At a time like this is when you need an attorney that is not only knowledgeable but compassionate and understanding as well. Mr. Schurman is an attorney who is all of these things and more. If your legal needs fall within Mr. Schurman’s field of expertise, I do not believe that you could ask for a better attorney than he. As such, I give Mr. Schurman something that I rarely give to anyone in any profession and that is my highest recommendations. You will not regret hiring Mr. Schurman.
