If you are seeking a capable and caring lawyer please go else where. Jim executed my case very poorly. He is very scattered and often was forgetful of the important details of my case. He laid out a path of execution to my family and myself and did something completely different, leaving my case i...n a vulnerable manner. Jim was removed from my case for his poor execution and lack of professionalism. After seeking another counsel I have learned that Jim only complicated the matter.

Mr. Risch is not technical and is unable to communicate in other than via telephone though he is never available to take calls and I would always have to wait for a call back. He is unable to multi task and he is easily confused with what was discussed via telephone or email and actual facts. He was ...forgetful and constantly contradicted what he would say he was going to do to what he actually did. He expected me the client to do ALL of the foot work in regard to paperwork, gather information, and communicating via 3rd party. His professionalism and follow through are severely lacking and because of his action the opposing party was able to easily have the upper hand in every situation pertaining to the case. Unless you are seeking an attorney for an uncontested divorce that requires no footwork on Mr. Risch’s side I highly advise you seek alternative representation.

Client/attorney agreement did not clarify attorney's preferred contact method. Attorney refused to answer emails. Attorney made false allegations regarding opposing counsel, but in reality he may have been the uncooperative party. He did not appear knowldgeable about my case. Overcharged for his serv...ices. Case was quickly and successfully resolved when I changed attorneys and a more collaborative environment was created.
