About Julie
Biography
Julie is a Louisville native, born and raised. She knew from a young age that she wanted to serve her community. During undergrad at Bellarmine University, Julie fell in love with the law and the potential attorneys had to change the world for the better. After graduating law school, Julie accepted a position as a Family Court Staff Attorney to Judge A. Christine Ward, because she believed it was the best way to serve Kentucky families. Today, Julie still serves the Court by acting as appointed Friend of Court and Guardian Ad Litem in the Family Law Courts. However, Julie believes the best way to help the community is by serving the people of Kentucky, directly.
At a young age Julie became a victim of violence at the hands of her significant other. As such, Julie knows firsthand the struggles many of her clients face, making her a passionate advocate in Family Law and Domestic Violence Law. After years of fighting her own battle, Julie wants to help show the citizens of Kentucky they can, in fact, rise from the ashes.
