Biography
Andy is a Kentucky native who has lived in Louisville for nearly twenty years. He grew up in Bowling Green, attending Bowling Green High School. After high school, Andy attended the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY, where he majored in Spanish and History. Mr. Downey attended the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
After law school, Andy remained in Louisville and began focusing his work within the Latino community. Primarily working on personal injury cases at the beginning of his career, as time went on, Andy began concentrating on cases closer to his heart. Now, Mr. Downey works primarily in the areas of immigration and criminal matters.
In his free time, Andy enjoys volunteering with the University of Louisville, cooking and spending time with his family.
