Kimberly Withers Daleure

I was very disappointed with Kimberly's representation. She was not responsive to my questions, it took her two weeks to respond to one email. I walked into to the courtroom very unprepared and had no idea what to expect. She basically took my $1500 and didn't do anything to represent me other tha...n show up to the hearing and say "yes, your honor". I would never hire her again.

I hired Ms. Daleure to handle my divorce. What we had hoped would be a quickly mediated settlement to a very short marriage quickly turned into a long running knock-down drag out fight. The entire proceedings actually lasted longer than the marriage. Opposing counsel was extremely aggressive, a...nd the judge initially seemed sympathetic to the other party. However, at every step, Ms. Daleure hit all filing deadlines, composed withering motions supported by mountains of evidence, and she successfully persuaded the court to reverse nearly half a dozen of its own decisions during the course of the proceedings, relieving us of the expense of filing and arguing appeals. Throughout, Ms. Daleure was professional, compassionate, and responsive. Highly recommended.

My experience with Kim started out great. It however went really bad really fast. I could not possibly recommend Kim as an attorney. Kim became frustrated with me wanting answers to questions I had about my case and refused to return my calls in a timely manner. Sometimes it would take her over a wee...k to call me back. I was paying her $250 an hour and I gave her $2500 retainer. I'm pretty sure I deserved her attention or at least for her to answer my calls and discuss my concerns. When she did finally call me back she was short and very condescending towards me. Ver unprofessional. Kim did not due what she told me she was going to do in court and she really didn't stand up for me at all. She mostly made agreements with the other attorney and judge without me having any input at all. I told her I was unhappy with the information I had been receiving from her and with her level of communication. Kim then sent me an email telling me she decided to quit representing me mid-case. UNREAL!!!! This case is about me protecting my son from a violent addict and repeat domestic violence and assault offender and Kim decided to leave me on my own knowing I could not afford to get started with another attorney. I basically begged her to stay with me and she refused. Kim is a smart and a capable attorney. If she wouldn't let her personal feelings get in the way and if she actually cared about me as client who is desperately concerned about my son she could have been a great attorney. THIS IS A SHAME!!!!
