Keith Obert has been a civil trial/litigation attorney for going on 35 years in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee and is the primary litigator for Obert Law Group, P.A. ("OLG"). Obert Law Group is engaged generally in areas of plaintiff and defense practice related to civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution and trial practice, specifically focusing on the prosecution and defense of motor vehicular accidents, wrongful death and bodily injury claims, premises liability, products liability, insurance law, workers’ compensation, mass tort defense, family law, probate and commercial, construction, industrial and business litigation. OLG represents a diverse range of clients, from single individuals to families, from small businesses to multi-million dollar corporations. Our Firm has been recognized in Mid-South Super Lawyers and AM Best's Recommended Insurance Attorneys, for our experience and expertise in personal injury, insurance and civil litigation practice. Mr. Obert has been rated and recognized by Martindale Hubbel as an AV-Preeminent attorney. Mr. Obert has also been recognized as a Top Lawyer, within the Top One Percent (1%), and has also been inducted into the Fellows of the Mississippi Bar Foundation and as an inductee of The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals for his Mediation practice.
OLG is comprised of two litigation attorneys with more than 63 years of combined legal experience. Although OLG is relatively small in comparison to the legal conglomerates found in today’s market, our attorneys have large firm backgrounds and are experienced in handling an array of legal issues, from simple and routine motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, and products liability cases to sophisticated, complex business and tort litigation, mass tort litigation including asbestos-defense and chemical exposure matters, as well as other assorted commercial litigation matters for OLG's rather diverse client base. OLG also represents a number of individuals before licensing and disciplinary administrative boards including Character and Fitness Committees of Board of Bar Admissions in Mississippi and Tennessee, The Mississippi Bar, as well as several medical licensing boards in Mississippi.
OLG was founded and its philosophy is premised upon the provision of quality, first hand representation, based upon personal attention and genuine concern for its clients and for favorable results, all at a fair and reasonable price. Unlike many attorneys practicing today, who may not have extensive trial experience, we have substantial trial experience in state and federal courts in Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama. Because of our vast trial court and appellate experience, we litigate matters with an eye toward preparing your case for trial, but will consider settlement when the attorneys and client agree that it is best to resolve the matter rather than proceed to trial, or complete the appellate process. Because both of our attorneys are Certified Mediators, we believe in alternative dispute resolution procedures and will recommend mediation or arbitration when it is best for the client to participate in that process. Overall, we strive to provide you with smart, practical legal representation and counsel, at a fair and reasonable price, with aggressive, experienced litigation attorneys fighting for your rights, regardless of which side you are on, be that plaintiff or defendant.
