I hired John in my child custody case. Paid this man thousands of dollars just to keep a continuance on our court dates. He took my money and done absolutely nothing to help me whatsoever! The last time I paid him, he kept telling me “If you pay X amount, will will get you another court date set up a...nd we will try to end this thing.” So I pay him $2,000 in January just for him to ignore me for months! Finally, April rolls around and he sends me a text saying that he can no longer handle my case that he is having to move and he while line of excuses. Turns out, he had been disbarred SINCE NOVEMBER of the previous year!! I reached out to him multiple times for a refund just to be ignored! I usually do not like to leave bad reviews for any person or business but hopefully enough people will see this and reconsider before hiring this man! A few years have passed and my situation turned out okay but if the MS Bar allows this man to return, DO NOT HIRE HIM! Literally anyone else will do a much better job!

We will be suing John Robbin for the money that he stole from our family. He stole over $10,000 from my brother and did nothing for my brother cases. Now my brother is suffering to find a new lawyer because this man took his money. He agreed to pay him back because he knew what he did was wrong. Now ...he’s coming up with excuses as to why he can’t stick to the agreement that he made. I AM CALLING ON ANYONE THAT HE HAS EVER DONE WRONG. He has taken money and just ran with it not doing the job he’s supposed to and it has caught up to him which is why his license is suspended. This man is a THEIF.

As with the other reviews im reading he talked a good no a great game . He promised to do this that and even put my ex in court for contempt. He was supposed to be sure it wasn't scheduled for the town it was originally set in bc people had obviously been paid off , that didn't happen. I had to pay h...im $1500 before he would lift a finger on my case which im sure a lot of u know is a lil difficult for a single mom to come up with but i did. Then the same day i paid him his $1500 he said he had to have another $150 to file some kinda paper with the court. And all the summons I HAD TO DELIVER MYSELF HE COULDNT EVEN BOTHER TO DO THAT. Then mever hear from him again til day before court when he reassured me about everything and il be danged if he didn't show up at court the next day and do or give the opposing lawyer everything they wanted i mean even what he promised me he wouldn't. So needless to say instill dont have my daughter or visitation with her and I haven't heard feom him in a year and a half since court. He might have done $4-500 dollars worth of work and im being VERY GENEROUS THERE! I got an idea why don't all of us he completely and totally screwed all get together and tell the state board what hes done and report him to anyone and everyone we possibly can til he either rectifies the situation or at the very least is disbarred or run out of the profession all together. He is a joke and a scam ! I literally had better luck in court when i represented myself! Also he only got 1 star bc u have to pick one and they dont have to option of 0 stars or negative starts!

He is so unprofessional!! Talked a great game during my initial interview so I went ahead and paid him the amount needed which was only $600! After that he’s went ghost! Doesn’t respond to calls or text messages! His office won’t put me through to him either! Such a SCAM! I only lost a small amount c...ompared to others but BEWARE! Very dishonest!!
