Clown

If you’re in the market for a firm that barks loudly over the phone but limps into the courtroom with clerical errors and boilerplate blunders, Jacob Law Group delivers—like a wet envelope. They boast aggressive collections, but their filings read like a Mad Libs game someone gave up on. In my cas...e, they filed a Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings that boldly demanded… wait for it… $0.00. A masterstroke of legal nihilism. Bold strategy, Cotton. And when met with a pro se response? Silence. Like a deer caught in a default judgment trap that actually answered. It turns out once you don’t roll over, their snarling turns into paper shuffling—and not the competent kind. They appear to rely heavily on legal assistants to auto-fill documents, then slap a signature on it like seasoning. It's litigation by assembly line: impersonal, error-ridden, and executed with the urgency of a DMV at lunch hour. Their strategy seems clear: Intimidate by mail Bluster by phone Pray the judge doesn't read too closely So if you're looking to be sued by a firm that acts like a junkyard dog in demand letters but shows up to court like a chihuahua wearing a tie—Jacob Law Group is your firm. Pro tip: File a response and watch them vanish like a puff of procedural incompetence.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
