Seth Christopher Chapman

I paid Seth in July 2024 to take my ex to court for non-payment. He assured me we'd have the case in front of the judge by September 2024. He finally went to court in March 2025. Of course I won as the ex was in default on payments. By July I found out that Seth did not submit a QDRO (Qualified Domes...tic Relationship Order) for the money to be taken from my ex's pension. That had to be signed by the judge as well. He had no clue. He did not do his research. Finally THAT went before the judge in October 2025. Today (Nov 20) I was informed by the clerk master of Lewis County that while the judge agreed to sign the QDRO on Oct 8, Seth has STILL submitted no paperwork for him to sign!! I am living on $1200/month, and nearly 40% of that is car payment and insurance. I have no idea how I am going to pay my heat bill or my property taxes. I live on cans of soup ..literally. I would NEVER recommend Seth Chapman as an attorney. I wouldn't allow him to watch my dog. He has no secretary. He does not take phone calls or respond to texts. The only way to communicate with him is through email...which he responds to if he feels like it. I can't even stalk the jerk because I no longer live in TN. And the most infuriating thing is he has lied to me, blaming the judge for not signing the paperwork. I have that in an email. He is a terrible attorney and I plan to report him to the State.
