He represented a very good friend and did absolutely nothing for him. Returned no phone calls, messages. Did not properly advise him on his choices. In fact, my friend was told to take a blind plea. What kind of attorney does that. He was sentenced to 9 years for a gun charge. He did not deserve this... . Sam Jonson did nothing at all for my friend. In fact it's the worst representation I've ever seen.

Samuel Hinson was paid over $8,000 to represent a family member of mine in a very serious case. He ensured us that he would beat the case due to the fact that there was no evidence or proof against my family member. When he (Sam) arrived to the court date, he was over an hour late and he stated that ...he had never worked a case like the one we had before (which he never stated when we were getting ready to hire him). Since then, we can’t get him to answer or return ANY phone calls! We have been calling him for a month straight and he will not speak to any of us. He refused to stand up and speak for us in court and he never spoke to my family member (his client) before he left. If you are looking for good representation, do NOT hire Samuel Hinson. He can’t do anything for you that a public defender wouldn’t do. Save your money. You’d be better off representing yourself. We currently have an active lawsuit against him and he has been reported.

He is one of a kind I am very blessed to have been paired with Mr. Hinson for my case he has always handled everything with care and got all the facts and done a great job he puts his heart in to his job and not alot of attorneys do that for there clients i can not tell you how blessed i was to have... had him as my attorney

Sam listened to what we had to say, researched into what my husband was being accused of, and presented our case to the jury with passion and professionalism. He always kept us informed and educated on proceedings so that we were not taken by surprise and could be prepared and make educated decisions... on how to proceed.
