I really thank Attorney Ursula Jones and her staff because although I had not been to her office they were kind enough to explain the process and even after I was able to pay the upfront fee they check around for more options for me... That says alot about the firm. I am not sure how I'm going to ...handle my situation but I truly thank Mrs Jones and her law firm for being such a great help....I pray I'm able to hire her before Thursday so I want loose my car...

Before filing for bankruptcy, I intentionally sought to support a minority-owned business. My first consultation with Ms. Ruby was encouraging she made me feel confident that I could finally get back on track financially. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly after that. The first red flag w...as receiving a credit counseling certificate without ever actually completing any counseling. I paid $40 and was simply emailed a certificate which didn’t sit right with me. Over the next six months, I went through three different paralegals, each one less responsive than the last. Communication was poor, and every time I called for updates, I got different answers or none at all. To make matters worse, I began being garnished by a creditor that was supposedly covered under my bankruptcy. I had to personally investigate and resolve the issue because the firm couldn’t (or wouldn’t) explain what went wrong. Even though these errors were clearly on their end, I was still expected to keep up with payments just to maintain my case. The biggest issue was that my car was never included in the bankruptcy, even though I made it clear it should have been from the start. Despite repeatedly asking for answers, no one ever took accountability. I have never spoken with or even heard directly from Ursula Jones herself. The most recent communication came from a former paralegal calling from her personal cell phone, which left me concerned about how my private information is being handled. Overall, I regret choosing this firm. I wanted to support a minority-owned business, but instead, I experienced unprofessionalism, poor communication, and serious mishandling of my case. I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision. Now I am stuck wuth a dismissed case and may be pit of more money because of my case being mishandled

I visited this law firm about 3 years ago, and again earlier this year (2017). Both occasions I was told, (what I'm just now finding out was a LIE) that a specific debt (which I made very CLEAR was my main concern) would be wiped clean, along with my other debts. One of the things I hate most about p...eople are those who pretend they're genuine out to "help" you. Meanwhile, they're lying/ giving false information, and painting a different picture, once you've found out, otherwise. I also HATE when people try to use your vulnerability and dealings with life in general, as an excuse for a lie In which I was told. By saying that "I heard what I wanted to hear," or "I heard what I thought may make me feel better" Why would you talk to people I this manner, when you've expressed that you've had similar issues or you know what they're going through. Any how, I would now like to give my apologies for thinking and speaking so highly of your law firm. I should've known better because it usually always backfires. AND too bad I don't have the initial conversation (s) recorded.
