LACKING IN MANY ASPECTS

Awful experience. From the start he requested more money than what his father initially quoted me upon taking the case. The law firm website claims they can help you with “Enforcement & Contempt of Divorce Decrees.” He could not, very uneducated in this realm of law. A lot of the questions I asked al...ong the way were answered "I’m not sure" or "I’ll have to find out". With many not having a follow up. Failure to adequately research and did no background work, instead relied only on what I gave him or what the opposing party claimed. There were several points if he would have looked into himself, it would have changed the direction of the case and thwarted the demands of the opposing lawyer. Failure to communicate. There were many emails and phone calls that weren’t answered at all or were untimely in answering. Many had a direct effect on the case, such as a court date change. Pretty important for an out of state client! I consistently received information from the other side first, before being informed by my own attorney. After much wasted effort, nerves money and time I was financially forced to take the lessor of the evils and make a deal with the other party. I had to do this on my own also. If I continued at this rate I would be more in debt from just trying to unsuccessfully fight the case. When these problems were attempted to be addressed I was told it was my fault, that I chose to settle and that my case was closed, no more help. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. I chose them from out of state. They were friendly and cheap and that’s about it. They accepted my case and my money and didn’t do anything, except continuances. I even asked for my case file to include all case related notes. For 11 months of representation, I received about 10 pages mainly of emails he had already sent me. Nothing else. Not even the package of documentation I initially sent them.
