Poor representation in contested divorce with adulterous wife seeing married convicted batterer

I hired Lynda Teems for a contested divorce involving custody of children. According to Ms Teems she spent the whole weekend working on my case to go to trial accumulating over 9 billing hrs at 250-300 per hour.. On the day of the trial she ducks in to a room with my ex wifes attorney and comes back... insisting that I settle the case and that I would definitely lose my case if i were to set foot in the court room. This case involved an adulterous affair by my wife at that time with a man convicted of domestic assault on his wife. I told Attny Teems that I would not settle and wanted to go to trial and that I owed it to my children. I had brought in witnesses etc.... The process continued all day long , her going in and out of rooms with my ex wife's attny and she would come back and call me the most stubborn client she had ever represented because I would not agree to settle. I still have a few questions about that day.. If she knew we didnt have a chance to win in that case why amass over 9 hours of time on my case the weekend before my trail? I mean she talked to my wife's attny as well as the Guardian Ad Litem constantly before my case and the week before the divorce she was very optimistic about winning the case. We finally get in front of the judge at 5pm and wouldnt you know it the Judge continues my case until the next day. Well all of my witnesses cant come back the next day and I wind up being talked in to settling which i later regretted. And Attny Teems tells me to forget this day ever happened.. lol Bad representation .. my total bill was over $9000.00 and it was wasted in my opinion.
