Fair, just, and concerned

I met Mr. Schielke as a victim of a theft. He was the prosecutor on my case. He seemed more concerned than anyone I had talked to in the DA's office. He updated me when something happened on the case and was always available (returned my calls promptly). Though the case did not go to trial (2 yea...rs after it happened), Mr. Schielke wanted my input into the case and the result of it. Ultimately, the case plead out, but not before he called and asked if I was ok with the outcome. Though I've been a victim of crime before (this is Memphis after all), this was the first time I felt the prosecutor was actually concerned about my input and made me a part of the case.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
